At a microscopic level, glass is actually quite rough. Inevitably, this texture allows rainwater, road debris, insect matter, and environmental pollutants to easily penetrate the surface causing unwanted stains and impaired road vision. Diamon-Fusion® is a patented two-step windshield coating process that chemically bonds to the glass filling in the peaks and valleys of the surface, resulting in an ultra-thin invisible barrier. The efficacy of the Diamon-Fusion® windshield coating is also unlike any other. Tests conducted at the Institute for Glass Science and Engineering at Alfred University in New York confirmed that to damage a surface treated with Diamon-Fusion®, the force applied has to be 10X more than what it takes to damage an unprotected surface.
